Its history goes back a millennium. And the beer, the best in Europe. Prague is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show. After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Prague. This tour mainly covers the famous attractions of Prague city such as Grand City tour, Prague Castle & Boat cruise. Discover Prague not only by bus and walking but view the architectonic jewel also from the Vltava River with our combined tour! During this tour we will introduce Prague as a historic and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide will be with you the whole time, explaining the history of Prague and its neighborhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) during the bus trip. The second part of the tour will take you to Prague castle and to one of the most important sight of Prague on a visit inside the nearby St Vitus Cathedral . After approximately 60 minutes of guided walking tour you go to the bank of the Vltava River to get on board a boat where you can take a rest and relax admiring the beauties of Prague from a different view. Besides other bridges connecting both the river banks you will see the well known Charles Bridge from the boat. Then continue for a pleasant walk through the Jewish town to the Old Town Square (Prague Astronomical Clock and Tyn Cathedral) where the tour ends.
After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Karlovy Vary. Visit the spa town of Karlovy vary and taste the medicinal waters! Our minibus will take you through the picturesque West Bohemian countryside to the city Karlovy Vary. Walk during this day trip along the world-famous spa and have lunch at the Colonnade. Karlovy Vary is the most famous spa town in the Czech Republic, the history of the city dates back to the 14th century, the time of Charles IV. The curative effects of the local mineral springs were used as treatments on greats such a Tsar Peter the Great and the writer Goethe. One of the most famous attractions is the Hot Spring that spews boiling healing water up to a height of 12 m. In the city you can look forward to a wide range of historical and modern colonnades and tasting water from 12 natural mineral springs. We recommended to also taste delicious wafers and traditional liqueur Becherovka, made from a unique blend of herbs and spices. Later evening drive back to Prague. Overnight stay at hotel in Prague.
After breakfast, transfer to train station, broad your train to Vienna. The average travel time from Prague to Vienna is 5 hours 11 minutes. Arrives at Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Baroque streetscapes and imperial palaces set the stage for Vienna's artistic and musical masterpieces alongside its coffee-house culture and vibrant epicurean and design scenes. Transfer to hotel. Later proceed to Vienna City Tour. This tour covers the major attractions of Vienna & Schonbrunn Palace. Take a tour of the main sights within the city centre and visit the magnificently decorated rooms of Schonbrunn Palace.This city tour will introduce you to the the most important sights of the Austrian capital. As we drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. After breakfast, proceed to Salzburg & Mozart day trip. Pass through the beautiful Salzkammergut area en route to Mozart's historical city of Salzburg. This full day trip takes you to the beautiful 'Salzkammergut', lake district and to Salzburg, the capital of music festivals. On the highway, towards the West of Austria, we reach Gmunden and pass by the impressive mountain region of the Lake District with its small picturesque towns. After arrival in Salzburg, there is some free time to enjoy lunch (not included). In the early afternoon, there will be a guided walking tour of Salzburg where you will see the Fortress Hohensalzburg, the Dome, the Festival Halls, the Mozarteum, the well known little street 'Getreidegasse' with Mozart's birthplace and the Mirabell garden. After breakfast, transfer to train station. Board train to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Bratislava doesn’t provoke admiring swoons; it intrigues. In the midst of Slovakia’s capital, a flying saucer hovers above forest-fringed riverbanks. Its castle presides over a pastel-hued old town, but a concrete jungle looms behind. Despite the march of modernism, Bratislava is green. It banks the Danube River, by the Austrian border, and its hilly parks are threaded with hiking and biking trails. Here you will have some free time to yourself to visit the Fishermen's Bastion which offers stunning views over the city and the Mathias Church.
